Tairāwhiti Polytechnic's strategic plan 2007-11 was developed following input from a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders. The TEC has endorsed the overall direction proposed.

annual report 2009 -for the first time in five years we recorded a financial surplus; we also re-established very good basic administration processes; continued campus upgrades; and despite a substantial restructure at the end of the year staff continue to work diligently towards the betterment of the community through education.

Unfortunately, despite this, the Government’s Budget announcements mean to achieve sustainability we must explore our options for viability through partnership with EIT.
